This term we are learning about gravity, pressure and air resistance with both Mrs Stevens and Miss Morrell. Today we learnt about the vacuum affect of gravity and how air resistance affects certain shapes and weights. With our learning buddies we created parachutes using 1 x A2 piece of paper, 2 x pieces of 30cm string, cellotape and a little toy bear to represent our person. Then we dropped our parachutes against each other. Sasha and Hannah won, we decided it was because theirs was the most similar to a real parachute.
